RESOURCES
In the coming months, primary exhibitor contacts can access the Exhibitor Resource Center, which has all the information to make show prep easier. Check back here for updates or contact Renae Gurthet (renae@gurthetmedia.com).
Please check back here in December for the detailed exhibitor move-in and move-out schedule.
In December, our official exhibitor services provider, Freeman, will release an online manual that covers show rules and regulations, exhibit installation and dismantling procedures, shipping, and ordering information for booth products and services.
What Each Booth Includes: Each 10' x 10' booth includes an 8' high black back drape and 3' high black side drapes. Booths up to 300 sq. ft. receive a one-line identification sign. Booths larger than 300 sq. ft. may receive drapes and an identification sign upon request. Booths do not include furnishings, floor covering, or utilities.
Floor covering: The exhibit hall is not carpeted. Exhibitors must fully cover their booth floor. You may use your own floor covering as long as it covers the entire area and no concrete is visible, or rent from Freeman.
Electricity: Booths do not include electrical service. If needed, order from the convention center's exclusive electric provider in December.
Wi-Fi: Complimentary internet is not available in the exhibit hall. If required, use your own mobile hotspot or MiFi device, or arrange service with the convention center's exclusive internet provider in December.
As the premier educational and networking event for the structural steel industry, The Steel Conference presents a prime opportunity for exhibitors to host meetings or events. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity as long as your meeting or event does not occur during exhibit hall hours (see schedule above).
The list of registered conference participants is provided to exhibitors and sponsors 30 days prior to the conference, two weeks prior to the conference, and approximately 30 days after the conference has ended.
Note: At the time of registration, participants are given the chance to opt-out of being included on such lists.
Contact Renae Gurthet at renae@gurthetmedia.com or 231.995.0637 with questions.
In the days leading up to The Steel Conference, you will likely receive fraudulent solicitations. Offers of discounted hotel rooms or booth products and services are often scams. Our official partners and providers will not solicit you by phone. Do not buy the attendee list. Only official NASCC delegates have it, and we provide it to exhibitors free of charge.
As a general rule, anyone who solicits your business without providing a contact phone number or an active website is probably not legit.
Be on the lookout for spelling and grammatical errors and unusual characters in brand names or email addresses.
When in doubt, check them out; contact renae@gurthetmedia.com or nascc@aisc.org for help.
MARKETING OPPORTUNITIES
Create brand awareness before, during, and after The Steel Conference by advertising in Modern Steel Construction magazine, the official publication of the American Institute of Steel Construction.
Contact Geoff Weisenberger at weisenberger@aisc.org or 312.493.7694 to obtain a quote for print and online opportunities.
Want to connect with customers and prospects who might not attend NASCC: The Steel Conference? Offer them a complimentary Exhibit Hall Pass to attend as guests and see your latest products and services. The pass grants free admission to the exhibit hall on Thursday, April 15, and Friday, April 16. In January, exhibitors can download it from their Exhibitor Resource Center or get it from Renae Gurthet (renae@gurthetmedia.com).
One of the many benefits of exhibiting is the opportunity to conduct an Exhibitor Workshop. This session informs conference participants about what makes your product or service vital to their businesses. Workshops are available in 45- and 60-minute slots. They take place before and during officially scheduled conference technical sessions and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Signup begins later this year. Please contact nascc@aisc.org to learn more.
Note: Exhibitor Workshops are not eligible for PDH credits.
Please use the materials in our Marketing Kit to help promote your participation and increase your presence so your target audience can find you before, during, and after the show.
This easy, effective, affordable marketing tool drives foot traffic to your booth. Simple for exhibitors and exciting for attendees, the program is available to only 20 exhibitors on a first-come, first-served basis. Signup opens later this year. Please contact Renae Gurthet (renae@gurthetmedia.com) to learn more.
